Vedder/herling Island - July 29

A friend and I went to the Vedder about 9am. We worked the river from below Lickman Rd. to above peach. we talked to quite
a few fishermen who told us they neither caught or saw anything caught all morning and neither did we. So, we set off to try Herling Island. The water was high (up to our waists crossing) and very few people were seen all afternoon. I had a few hits but nothing solid but my friend had two fish on only to loose them. So, no fish for us - hope all of you out there had more success....
