scale bar
« on: September 16, 2005, 03:45:41 PM »

Ok I need to ask a couple of questions,
Is the scale bar only closed to fishing above the markers ,
or has the no-fishing area  been extended downstream??
talked to a Cop ( RCMP ) today who is an avid angler he told me that a truck and gear was seized, 2 guys charged for illegal fishing yesterday, illegals claimed that they were new to angling and were unaware of the regs etc.etc, unfortunatly for one of them, he had recieved a warning last year for over quota and killing a miss-identified fish at the same location.
I don't fish at that location but questioned the statement that the whole bar is closed to fishing ,or access is being denied.if fish caught legally are then transported by an act of tresspass can you be charged for illegal fishing?.
