Yeah today wasn't too bad actually.  Had three hours to kill after work so drove out from Burnaby and wetted the line on the incoming tide.  Actually went 1 for 3 today and brought home a nice doe.  I was pleasantly surprised becuase I usually figure the early outgoing tide was best for me.  Just nice to be out and casting so I really didn't mind hooking up with the two solid takes and bringing one home.  One was lost and the other was just a decent bump that caught me snoozing.  Only 3 rises seen today.

Was fishing in Richmond today from 5pm to 8 pm, stopped at couple of spots between Rd #5 and #2. Saw just three more people fishing in that area, no fish cought and just couple of raisers. A lot of seals, some of them slamming their tails on water making quite a noice. Maybe angry for absence of pinks ???

Went out today, didn't hook anything between me and my buddy, didn't see much either.

Highlight of the afternoon was seeing a log boom fall apart right in front of me. Heard some loud cracking, then the back 1/4 drifted away form thew rest of it. Heard some yelling, and the two tugs moving the boom detached form it and moved the whole thing latterally onto the river side, and picked up the pieces and fixed the whole thing bakc together. Quite interesting to watch, but wasn't able to see the thing up and running again.

That's about it, judging by the reports from others, I may have to try to make a trip some time tomorrow. We'll see.

Move around guys, Richmond is not very big. If you have been fishing the same tide at the same location with no results to show, then most likely the fish are not going to show at that particular time and location for awhile...

Don't forget the commercial fishery that has been taking place in the past few days. The fishing will be slower than usual the next few days.
