:o  well i stopped by the keith wilson bridge today for a look.a fair number of guys fishing on both sides.lots of pinks being caught and some decent size springs also. i was  amazed by how people were fishing proper this trip. usually its a snag fest. now i dont like fishing there but today gave it a shot. hooked into 1 big spring and lost it. my buddy hooked 2 springs and lost them both. picked up a bag of garbage on my way out. am going to tamahi in the morning then up to the pools. a good rain and the springs will be in full force. ;D ;D

2 for 1 deal... ;D great to hear, you hooked into a spring and also kept the area clean  :D  If all fishers would pickup their own trash we be out of a job.... which I don't mind in this case! 8)

what they should do is fill that area in so the fish don't hold.

don't care what anyone says about fish not holding in there for long....
