Roe Storage

Anyone know how long roe keeps in the fridge?  Should I freeze it if I'm not going to use it within a few weeks?

Freeze it for sure.  Wrap it well; gets freezer burnt easily.

I keep them in the fridge for up to a month, so I usually leave enough out for the outings that I am doing in the next couple of weeks. The rest goes into the freezer. I usually save some roe for the following season. Last year I saved two skeins of chum roe and they have worked well for me this season.

freeze it, but make sure you sealed it good and took all the air out.
