Vedder tomorrow?
« on: February 20, 2006, 06:56:20 PM »

Hey guys,

I was thinking of heading over to the Vedder tomorrow to swing some flies....just wondering what area to hit up or if the conditions are going to be alright??  They are calling for some rain here....will that be good for the water there or shut things down??

Any help would be appreciated.  If anyone is around, I will be the one wandering around, maybe looking a little lost with the fly rod and orange hat...

Thanks guys and maybe I will see ya out!!

Condition are good but with the clear water conditions it maybe best to change the orange hat for a draber coloured one. ;D ;D

Good call Chris!!!  ;D

I forgot to ask before, are there any special regs on the water?? i.e single barbless.   I will be releasing everything anyways but just want to make sure.

Are there any shops around with fly fishing gear??

Thanks a bunch

Single barbless. Chilliwack Dart and Tackle and Fred's Custom Tackle both can help you out with fly gear.

Ditto to what Chris said.
Lots of good swing space around Peach or Lickman Road, or near the Yarrow train bridge, either side.
Weather is cool this morning, no wind, light snow. The water is gin clear, and low. But, there are fish in there! :)
Enjoy. And, good luck.
