Went out today late around noon. Water was low, and was quite clear first, then it coloured up quite a bit in the afternoon w/o any rain. Must be some clay bank collapse upstream. I was tired of rapids walking, so today I got lazy, and use a lazy strategy. I went to a nice looking lower run with a friend, and pounded it up & down, back & forth, change up to different presentations each time. Spent around 4 hours in that run. Never done that style of fishing, and probably never will. Boring and no pocket water to aim. But strangely it pays off. During the clear water period, my friend hit a wild doe about 8lb on a blade, and during the coloured water period, I switched to a big 6" worm, and hit a super chrome wild doe 11 lber. All in all, I saw 4 fish hooked in our run. 3 wild & 1 hatchery. Late in the day, went down to lower Lickman stretch, and saw 3 hatch packed out. Tight line. (hope the pictures are visible to you guys)
