Ambleside, Sunday June 18 and Thursday, June 22
« on: June 23, 2006, 05:19:34 PM »

Hi Folks.

Thought I'd post a report for all the local salties out there who may consider chuckin' it for Cohos off Ambleside this weekend.

I'll save you a mediocre fishing trip for 'hos and save you a lota time and gas $$$$$.

Still too early.

Fished 6 rods on Sunday for 4 hours. Fished 6 rods on Thurs. night for 2.5 hours.

Don't waste your time. Nothing there. I marked 2 "decent" fish on each trip, but nothing that hooked up.

VERY poor water clarity with the algae bloom as well.

if you're chuckin' it, and you decide to fish there, and you hook a couple, consider yourself very lucky and count your blessings. It'll need another couple of weeks for sure.

Tight lines,

Hmmm...water temps are warm in the bay too.

The sunshine is helping the algae right now too..so...it'll be around for a while yet.
