Waders
« on: July 20, 2006, 11:30:09 AM »

I'm tired of sweating to death in my Bare neoprene's and I have the cash to upgrade to a set of breathable waders.
What should i look for in a pair of waders? Simm's better than Patagonia or Bare?

I bought a pair of Simms Freestone from Reaction Fly and Tackle back in January, so far I have been very happy with them. If you decide to head to Reaction Fly and Tackle, they are having a sale next week and if you trade in your neoprene waders, you'll receive 10% off on a pair of breathable waders.

If you are getting rid of your Neoprene waders check the buy and sell forum. Some one is wanting a pair for a cheap price.

Who needs breathables when it gets too hot for the neo's, just wade wet. Breathable or not waders in this weather is asking for heat stroke.

I got a pare of bare blackwaters, so far no rips or torn seams very comfortable. Those Cloudville waders run for about $500+, Blackwaters are around $349. Also simms "guide" waders are ok and run about $375ish.
