Wow what a productive and fun day for you FF! I was at Vedder Friday 1000-1600, first time ever fishing in the wild ;D It was beautiful. So first outing, I got:
1. Two sour legs for standing up 5 6 hours staright. ;D
2. One "fish on" . Man it was an incredible moment.
3. Zero fish. :D

found some slow water today holding a half dozen small coho and 2 big coho, also a couple nice spring and chums, but they would not touch anything,.I was even dancing a whole bunch of different lures in there faces and they just wouldnt bite. This clear water is starting to bug me, I caught way more fish when I first started fishing years back then I have this year on the River. Back then my mainline was 15 lb, 2/0 hook and a huge chunk of red wool, and I seemed to nail everything. Now that I have been more fishing educated and use way small/ lighter gear I cannot seem to get into anything. To make me feel better Ill blame it on the rain.

yup there were quite a lot of people on the river today as expected.  went out again w/ my bro and son.  many fish, but very hard to get them to bite especially when the sun comes up.

Here's a pic of a doe white spring caught by my bro:

Here's a pic of my catch of the day................a 13 to 14 lb wild coho:

Here i am gently releasing it:

BTW i caught this one on a hammered nickel blade.
