Fraser Sturgeon Oct10/11

Headed out back to back nights and the fishing was excellent. Tides were good for where we were and had many fish to show for our efforts. First night hooked into 6 and landed 6 ranging in size from 3-4.5 feet. Had one fish over 6 decide to go between a couple log boom poles and under a cable, ended up having to break off. Here's a couple pics of some fish from that night.

The next night was even better. Armed with fresh salmon roe once again I managed to hook 8 and land 6. Biggest to hand was 5'. Had one fish over 7' kick the my smelly socks out of me. It ended up straightening out my 9/0 gammy. It jumped atleast and was on for a long time until it decided to run upstream almost spooling me on a strong outgoing tide.We brought the dvd player tonight for some entertainment. 8) ;D

A nice one.

The big fat 5'.

Nice report . The fishing will only get better as more salmon are coming they should really turn on to the Chum roe in the next couple of weeks .

Nice dinos! I have some roe saved up for some sturgeon fishing. I should most likley get out this weekend...

Awesome fish man !!!  BigSteel is always talking about how mant Sturgeon he catches but I have yet to see it .... one day I will get out and try for some dino's
