Great waether and not bad river condition combined for a fantastic turnout.
Congrats to the lucky 4 who landed the fish.
Excellent turnout at the clubhouse and some really good deals in the silent auction. ;D
Good work done, Chris and all.

Was a great day, with some fun guys!!  Was also fun watching the freak perhaps realize taht steelheading isn't quite as easy as it seemed!!! ;D ;D  Nice seeing all those that I hadn't seen for a while.
Congrats to all the winners, and Searun, you were do, great job man.  I was saying all day, if anyone get's one, I hoped it was you.  You had put your time in, and you deserved it.  ;) Flyguy, nice fish as well, great job. :)  I am 0-fer so far this year.  But they will come.  I hope!! ;D ;D  Didn't feel so bad when I saw that only 4 fish were weighed in. ;D

A update on the derby and fundraiser. After talking to the derby chairman he says 345 entered now down 20 from the previous number announced, profit was $12,573.42 plus $1,300 a fellow won on the draw and then donated it back.

Total profit then is $13,873.42. Well done Don and company from the Chilliwack Fish and Game Protective Association. ;D ;D

The complete article I did on the derby is now on the Chilliwack Progress web page for anyone interested. I made an error that always annoys me when I see it the press.

In the cutline I put together for the picture I called Wade, Wayne  :-[ :'( :o :( >:(what a beek I am, sorry Wade. At least in the article I got it correct. So much for having a proof reader.
