Well we could find a place in the Merritt region just depends on how many people want to join us. We could hit my favorite lake Island lake behind the Highland Valley Copper Mine. Perfect for small boats and float tubes. I could arrange a lake fish-in as thats some of my favorite kind of fishing :)

Any love for a fish in at a lake over a weekend...errr...flyfishing??? kickboats, tents, big trout??

OR, we get freak to move early and go visit him for the weekend and really catch some fish!!! Just kidding Anthony, you'd be sorely missed... :'(
You wasted post number 800 on that ??? ;D ;D  Sorry I have a soft spot for post number 800!! ;D ;D

But, I wouldn't mind flyfishing a lake or 2!!  You know of any, I could probably find some gear!! ;D

I suppose you mean my gear again  ;D ;D .

You wasted post 2900 on that? Big steel I think its time to get a Steely before you make another post.  ;D

I think the FWR Steelhead Derby should be once a year, and do a bunch of FWR group fishouts.

I think a lake fish-in or even mid-July springer are both excellent ideas but I will have to take a wait and see attitude as to what's on the old agenda at that time. I also like the steelhead derby as a yearly event but think having it a little bit later (early-mid Feb.) would
greatly increase both the number of people going and the number of steelys caught. Plus it would'nt be so damn cold.
