bass in fishtrap creek
« on: January 31, 2007, 07:59:23 PM »

I have heard that there is bass in fishtrap creek in abby.  Can anybody confirm this?  If so, has anyone ever fished it, and what worked well etc.

I am just getting into fishing, so any tips or info is helpful.

Thanks,

Dan

Yes this is true. Spinnerbaits has been the best lure for me in this system. The fish I have caught have been in the 2-4lb range. Have fun.

yup... there's bass in there  ???  ::)
go get em.... get them alll hehehehe

on a serious note... there has been bass there for quite some time. We fished it several years back and did quite well for bass up to 5 lbs. Spinner baits, and big gawdy flies did the trick for us.

Yeah, I herd ther's bass in there too.  It would be quite an experience to fly fish for them, so i'm probably gonna do that sometime.
