[Big Steel]

Well, after the down pour yesterday, Nuggy and I weren't sure if we were going to head back out this morning.  But upon waking a bit after 9 am, I saw that is was sunny out, finally and decided whet the heck.  Made my way there, got baited up and got the line out.  About 3 min after that Nuggy came rolling in, looking refreshed that we weren't going to get soaked today.  Well, to make a long story short, we brought out the good bait this time and were rewarded for it with some nioce Dolly/Bull action. 
Here are a couple pics from the day, the first one was a nice little one, scrappy.


 Next came one a bit bigger, about 22".  That one put up a real nice fight, but I wasn't using my camera, maybe Nuggy got a pic of that one.

 Then It was Nuggy's turn again, a real nice one about 20".  Here are a couple pics it that beauty!!





Was a great day out, nice weather and a couple fish.  Thanks for coming out Nuggy, had a blast!!

Went to Kawkawa today and it was dead...had one bite all day. Saw many familar faces out there..and i think it was the same story for them

Hey, the visibility in that water is better than the Vedder!

Nice fish, especially the long ones. They are still somewhat skinny, pretty normal for this time of the year. Once the juvenile salmon begin to move downstream and the eulachon begin to arrive, they are going to fatten up very nicely.

Good to see catch & release nets being employed too! We use it when targeting any fish on the Tidal Fraser, which makes fish handling much easier especially if you are standing on boulders.

Those are some real nice looking fish !! you got those Barfishing Dave is that the same place we fished for Coho's last year ?? I might just have to give that a try .. looks like fun !!

That might be the same spot!!    Might even head out for a day of Dolley fishing next weekend, that was fun, still wondering what the one massive hit of the day was.....  almost ripped my rod right off the holder!!
