Pinks?
« on: July 19, 2007, 08:33:46 PM »

Hey guys - long time no post. Had to try hard to remember my password.

Anyways - I want to teach my little borther and daughter to fish respectfully, which means a) getting them away from my Dad, and b) getting them into some pinks.
I seem to have misplaced the time that these wonderful fish return to the Fraser, the Squamish, and ideally, the Seymour.

Can anyone enlighten me?

cheers
Vince

Still a couple of weeks before the Squish starts up. None have been caught out in the chuck that I know of and also heard the pinks have moved down to the tip of van isle and the wesdt coast. So they are coming soon to a river near you.

Couple more weeks for the Squamish, but it is running high and dirty at this moment. Keep in mind that no retention quota has been announced yet, and most likely will not be as this run was impacted by the Cheakamus River chemical spill two years ago.

Seymour and Indian Arm runs will be in around August too.

The Fraser River run will be here in the first two weeks of September. Are you going for a dip in South Arm again this year? ;)
