Fraser at New Westminster key
« on: July 18, 2007, 01:38:00 PM »

Does anyone know if there is anything to be caught off the key in New Westminster or anywhere in the area?
Seems like a nice place to go for a walk and maybe cast a few times.
I saw one guy catching a 4 inch bullhead and actually throwing it in his bucket.
I hope he is catching them for his cats or something.

I used to live in the New west key.  If memory serves me correctly, I have seen quite a few fishermen down there at times about 4 years ago.  I believe they were fishing for Pinks and Chum, tossing spoons. Couldn't tell you how succesful they were though.  A further down the walk away from the Key, you could probably fish off the rocks. :)
