bottom fish, WD40 works great.  Not sure if its leaving a scent, or removing my scent from the lure.

i like anchovy scent for chinook in rivers, krill for trout and bass(steelhead and pinks included), and anchovy scent for bottom fish, but usually i use either flies or roe or wool so i dont use scent that often anymore

Haven't tried that many but Mikes Egg Milk works well with unscented jensen egg cluster and white/peach wool and I have also had good luck with anise scented jensen eggs both for coho.
