This was my first trip to the Vedder in 2007, and it was my first time fishing for Pinks on the Vedder. In fact, these were the first 2 Pinks I've ever caught. Found a great spot away from everyone else and there seemed to be a school of pinks flowing through about every 15 minutes or so. Fished from 6:30am until 8:30am, I hooked into 5 fish, landed 2 of them (both hooked in the mouth), and lost another right on shore. I was using a pink Rooster tail spinner (which I caught the female with), and small pink spoon (which I caught the male with). I was retrieving the lures very slowly, letting them suspend/sink a little bit from time to time and that's when I got most of the hits. Everyone other angler that I came across (including my buddy - who didn't even hook into one fish) was drift floating with wool etc. I felt as if I was the only guy using spoons & spinners, but from what I could see I was also the only guy catching fish
