stave river/ruskin dam

anyone know when the coho really start showing up here?  i saw a few nice ones landed there last mid-november and i'm just wondering when they start showing up there.   and also in the chehalis too?

I agree with Nik. You can find them as early as the beginning of Oct and as late as Jan. Landed my personal best Coho (fly caught)there on Boxing Day six years ago; the length times girth ratio said 20lb. She was wild and clean, and I was the only person on the river which made it double tuff to let her go.

I had a very productive day last year on on dec 28th at the chehalis. Was into double digits. Was suprised to see so many chromers around also!
