You get a fish like that and dont even call me...How rude  :P

It could have been your fish, Bryan!
But you had better things to do that day - like scoring a 10 foot Spratley!

I measured my Berkley rod from the picture to use as a reference point, and it shows that the fish was just over 41 inches long. Too bad I didn't measure the girth, which was also quite substantial, as that would have allowed me to calculate its weight using the existing fish weight calculation formula.

Anyway, I think 40 pounds is an honest guesstimate.

Its sure hard to judge by the picture... camera angle, zoom.. and such... but just give you guys some ideas of a 40lb.. If the lenght measure correctly of 41", the girth has to be 28" or greater. Thats by the ((length) X ((girth) X (girth))) / 800 measuring system that we use at the lodge for the $150,000 fishing tournment.    I'm not good at judging weights of a fish and i'm not going to try to guess either.. Thats all i gonna say its a good fish. Like i always said to my guests, Weight don't matter, as long as you enjoy it, even its a 3lb pinks, its still a nice fish...  Keep up the good work Milo, all the best for the rest of the season.

Milo, if I was posing with that fish, it would be estimated as 70lb+. ;D Good to see that lots of you had a good weekend on the Vedder.
