« on: September 30, 2007, 09:28:50 AM »

I had some uncured frozen roe given to me yesterday.i know it will be kind of mushy when I thaw it out is it still good for curing?I read that you can soak it in Koshe rsalt and water mix to revive the eggs does this work?Would be a waste if i cant use them:(

Use em for sturg. Or defrost, lay them out to dry until they are tacky to the touch, then cure them however you wish. It will just take longer for them to dry out.
