What's the best size of hook to use for Coho?

When short floating for Coho on the Vedder (or any Fraser tributary), with roe chunks, roe sacks, small pieces of wool, what size of Gamakatzu hooks are the best suited for each type of presentation (roe chunks, roe sacks, wool)?

Also, when fishing for Coho and Chum in the Lower Fraser with spoons and spinners, what is the best size of hook to have on the lures?  What is the best size/weight of Croc spoons?  Are the Coho usually closer to the surface (in which case I would only need to use a lighter/smaller spoon) or are they deeper down and would require a larger/heavier lure?

I use #2 hooks for hoes, and 1/0 hooks for chums

#1 for roe fishng
#4 or even 6 for wool tie in clear water
in murkier water, I will also use #2 for wool tie.
#2 for roe bag.

#2's... And #4s in gin clear water.

As for flies, I use size 8 hooks... Very small.

(some day when I have more time I'll definitely learn to fly fish because I'd love to experience catching a Coho on a #8 hook)

Got some beautiful chum on a size 8 hook the other day while fly fishing for coho. That was a nice fight.
