saw about 20 bear in the last 4 days up near ukee. these two had as much luck as i did, it was fun to watch for awhile.

I also saw a bobcat feeding on salmon bellies while working at the chilliwack hatchery...

That was cool!

Thats interesting... Wonder if it is recognized that bobcats eat salmon.  I remember when it was documented that coyotes or wolves eat salmon it ended up being published in a biology journal.

As for bears... We saw bear tracks ontop of our old shoe prints on the way back to the car last weekend.  That was in the nicomen slough area... but no bear.  and no salmon either.
