Squamish River Nov 23 2007
« on: November 23, 2007, 08:33:52 AM »

Fished the river near Mamquam in the morning until afternoon and no fish seen jumping or caught.

Spoke to a few people fishing and also no luck with anything.

Headed further up, (30 mins north) and saw a few spawned out fish, tried for an hour and nothing as well.

Tried wool and spinners.

I don't mean to sound negative, but this is the worst I've ever seen the Squamish in lack of fish (chum).

Waste of gas unless you want to watch seagulls and eagles fighting over lack of fish.

Oh and the Sea to Sky highway is a joke. How they could not come up with a better solution for a road to Whistler is beyond me. Punishing drivers for 3 years.

Photo below from another site  I saw, but accurate in it shows roughly the "up north" part I fished(less).

Incoming tide was 2:40 pm on that day. We were there at the time. No fish, sorry.
