What excuse tonight ?
« on: January 03, 2008, 07:21:09 PM »

What's the Laugh's excuse tonight after dropping a 6-2 decision to the Penguins ? John Ferguson announced following the game that the Leafs will be holding a tryout for a goalie or is that goalies ? Anybody that can stop a beach ball from 30 feet will be considered. ;D All that secondary scoring isn't helping them.

How do we know you really caught a steelhead ? ;D  Could just be your imagination, like your Leafs have a realistic chance of winning the Stanley Cup ;D ;D

Talking about excuses did anyone hear Tucker's for having his clock cleaned by Jarkko Ruutu?  Supposedly, Ruutu is 6'1" and 240 lbs.  Boy has he ever grown since being a Canuck...damned steroids!

And talk about other Leafs who had their Bell rung...can you say Mark?  He was getting flung about like a rag doll while being pummeled.  Man, he got beaten worse than a red headed step child in that last fight. ;D

Saw that Tucker/Ruutuu fight. Didn't realize Jarkko could throw punches like that.

When you're a real sports fan, or in several pools, or bet sports action you follow alot of teams and sports.

Furthermore, if you've ever tuned into Sportsnet they show the fights, highlights, scores everyday for several hours.  Pretty tough not to see every little thing that goes wrong for the Laughs because there's so many. ;D  Not to mention the fact that all the announcers revel in seeing them do poorly so they focus on it every chance they get.  Just like 99% (this figure could be a bit low) of B.C. residents.... it makes our day! ;D

BTW, the last fight by a Canuck....hmmm, how about the last game, right at the opening faceoff...Brown had an awesome tilt with Holweg (he plays for the Rangers just in case you don't know the players from other teams). At least 40 punches thrown.;D

Loved how Tucker blocked Ruutuu's punches with his head. ;D
