lots of boats and fisherman hunting kokanee on Alluete lake. good fishing.

Mike lake was a disaster. The lake has been recently stocked with rainbow trout. As i was making the last turn around the corner I thought the parking lot is empy but when i got closer and got a better view of the parking it did not look so good. I drove up to have a look at the lake and was dissapointed to see the lake packed with inflatables and float tubes. I turned around and went home bacause I did not want to compete for space. it was that bad :/
