Hi everyone,

I will be making a short weekend trip to kelowna this comming weekend and would love to do some fishing. Does anyone know of some opportunities?

I found a gem lake close to kelowna that fished good. There's rumours of 8lbers in it but I oly cought 12-16" rainbows. It's williamson lake ( I think that's how you spell it), it's off east kettle main about an hour south east of kelowna. Bring good maps couse it's a hard one to find, but well worth it. 8)

Also, stop in at Trout Waters Fly Shop, behind the Best Western off of Harvey Ave. Staff there is knowledgeable and  will be able to give you some good tips as to lakes to try. Bring along a float tube, if you don't have access to a boat,  will also help  as lakes in that area have limited shore access.
