Are you able to get to Scale bar without a boat? Im one of those unfortunate student types with little to no income for a means of transportation such as a boat.

Scale Bar is accessable from Hwy 7. You may need to cross a side channel. Not sure how deep it is now as I have not been there this year. If the current is flowing strong, then it may be dangerous to cross. If not, you can bring a wader along just in case it is crossable. If I remember last year June 30 when I made the first trip last year, the side channel was totally dry. So it may be ok now. Any one has been there yet to update us on the status?
