lower and upper bowmans

ive been buy there a few times in the past few years
i have seen a few people barfn
a few bbing,
just never alot of people  ???
is it because of low productivity
is it very snaggy there
or just a well kept secret
im interested because yet another boat launch
on our side of the river is closed
and the price of gas being so what it is
you dont need to post any secrets

can be good for barfing early on... wouldnt recommend bbing as it puts the bar guys in a tight spot with guys above and below surrounding them.. stick to grassy its better for that sort of thing

Used to very productive especially in the Fall. I have not checked it out but will let you know when I do. It can be snaggy but when I fish it I just test the area using a small weight and find where the snags are in a certain area.

may have to try barfin there this weekend
its nice and close to dewdney launch
plus can drop down and troll the mouth of the ved too  ;D

chris i thaught the smallest wieght you ever carried
was around 14oz  :D
