Fishing with my dad - Chilliwack-ish and around

So I'm organizing a little father daughter bonding trip this weekend, bit of a last minute deal but hoping for the best. Looking for a spot to catch a couple trout for lunch and enjoy some nice scenery. We don't have a boat or fly rods. Rough road access is ok (not too rough though!) but no way my dad will hike more than a half hour. Thinking of maybe hitting the lakes at sasquatch park, then possibly continuing to silver creek (know it's pretty up there but havent tried fishing). either that or lakes at/past the toll booth. any point going to falls lake?
any advice appreciated. not looking for anyone's super secret fishing spot. would just like to make it an enjoyable day and i havent fished around here much. thanks!!
