Dewdney nature Park boat launch
« on: September 11, 2008, 08:26:15 PM »

Does anybody know what time the gate opens in Sept for the boat launch?

Can you launch at any tide, and does it get low?

Or would you suggest to launch at mission bridge instead.

Here's their hours of operation;

Hours of Operation:
The Park is open year round.
The gate is open, June to September, from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm.
During peak periods, the gate may be opened earlier. Check back frequently for announcements.

And the website of the FVRD (Fraser Valley Regional District);

I'm afraid I can't offer much info on the variance of water levels, but I seriously recommend liberal application of mosquito repellant before you get out of your vehicle. :o Last time I was there I was bitten so many times I was starting to feel a little light-headed! ::)

And watch your belongings, breakins there have been consistent in the past...
