Bc trip 2009
« on: January 04, 2009, 05:36:52 AM »

We are going to your wonderfull place this year as well, we will be there from 2 Oct to 16 Oct.
Last year we rent a 4x4 from Alamo in the Vancouver airport, the car was very nice but expensive, my question is there any place we could rent 4x4 car/truck who is used (like rent a wreck)
in the Chilliwack/Vancouver area? We need to cars/trucks ;)

Cheers Peter

Peter, a few Danish friends of mine use Fraserway RV and they have been quite happy with them in the past two years. They usually get:

This would get you the truck you want to drive around and save you money on accommodation.

The vehicle pick-up location is not far from YVR, about 20 minutes by car.

Thanks Rodney - we have already rented a cabin i Cultus lake, you know we like the comfort i a nice cabin. We need only the cars to transport from the cabin to the rivers. How long time are you in Denmark - some of the rivers start the fishing after seatrout in 16 jan - I have a couple of friends who will be happy to fish with you in the Jutland rivers ;D

Thanks. I won't be fishing for the stream opening after January 16th, I'm only here for a few more days after that. A good friend of mine in Jutland just emailed me today about his anticipation of the fishery. Jutland is also a bit far from Copenhagen, we usually save that trip for the summer. :)

Renting from the airport is the most expensive place to rent from.
The airport charges the car rental companies a fee for every car they rent out.
Try this link. I use this sire for all my trips in Canada and the USA and I have never
found a cheaper rate .

If you are going to be fishing the rivers close to Cultas you should
not need a 4x4.
