Fishing High Dirty Water

I am new to fishing the vedder (2nd year) Wondering what kind of tackle i should use for high dirty water and what kind of water to fish. Any advice most appreciated

Try looking for where clear water comes into the river if you are really bent on fishing. Creek mouths might be a good start, then again even the creek might be dirty this go around. The Vedder has com down a ton but is still a ways from fishable. It is at a "fishable" height, but is flowing much too fast for a drift and has no vis. Give it another4, probably 5 days since we are suppose to be hit with another storm tonight. Man I feel sorry for the greendale people  :-[

 Took a walk down to the river today and the water has come down lots , but is still completely brown .

checked out the river today as well, I ended up fishing for about an hour and a half, above the clay slide. Visibility was about a foot and a half.
