I have seen an otter many times at Lafarge but never a beaver
This otter was in the middle of the lake and about 20ft away from me
It gave me a few looks then down it went with its long tail following

Hook, Wagonmaster and I were fishing there one day and this otter was swimming from shore to shore right in front of us and not surfacing you could just see the trail of bubbles

Ok some of you got it right it was Lafarge, but it could have been any of the suggestions
just nice to see so much wildlife close to high rise buildings and busy roads

Maybe its nocturnal  ;D ;D ;D
I notice there is a dam area in one of the corners could this be its home

Some one also told me there were catfish in there once :-\

also i found this link
Lafarge Lake is a five-hectare man-made lake, located in Town Centre Park in central Coquitlam, British Columbia.

The area was originally a quarry, but in the 1970s the land was transferred to the city of Coquitlam, and a successful reclamation project ensued. Today, the following are stocked annually for public fishing:

Brook trout
Brown bullhead
Cutthroat trout
Lake whitefish
Rainbow trout

So another question here

what fish have you caught in this lake besides Rainbow Trout and Carp ???
