Yup you read right Smelts are once again spawning on English Bay Beaches I saw them not 20 minutes ago on the Dog Beach near the Maritime Museum.

Not sure how many people here are into Smelting but if your friends/neighbours are into why not give them a call!

Smelts are funny critters spawning heavy in one place one day the next day they're gone-not sure if anyone fishes them steadily enough to determine a pattern.
