Potential new angler...
« on: May 11, 2009, 04:48:53 PM »

Well today has been one heck of a day. Im up in castlegar and my wife is in Coquitlam. I just got "the call'... she went into labour last night and to cut a long story short, i now have a second daughter!!!!!!!  ;D

The trouble is, I am at the tail end of my teaching practicum and Im not sure if I will be able to get down there right away. I may need to wait till the weekend (thankfully it is a long weekend). I am just in the process of finding out if I am able to miss any teaching time.

Hopefully this daughter will like fishing as much as her sister does.

Her name is Kayla, shes doing good but will likely be in the hospital for a while longer b/c she was a little premature. Her only problem right now is jaundice, but it isn't a big concern. Her sister had it when she was born too.

Im taking my older daughter out fishing today, she is feelign a little left out with a new sister who is taking away from her time with mom and dad. Hopefully we'll get into some fish. I thought id just take her to como lake in coquitlam because its close by and it just got stocked.

Thanks for all the well wishes.
