You can definitely catch coho salmon with the above setup that is permitted in the Tidal Fraser River.

Thanks, Rod, I was thinking of a family outing, that is why the bar setup looked like a good way to kinda' fish while you kinda' stay with the family, too... You know what I mean, there are none of my people interested in fishing, it's really just me... :-)

Does anyone know if it is possible to get RSS feeds from the Fisheries website when new regulations/notices appear?

Not that I am aware of. A good alternative is to be on FWR's Facebook page where I post up the latest fishery notices whenever they are issued. ;D

Aah, facebook... I admit, I don't spend enough time there... I thought that I am pretty up to speed, but some of the new social interaction networks are still trying to catch up to me... Or me to them...
