Sting/needle plant?
« on: August 22, 2009, 03:02:27 AM »

I was doing a bit of bushwacking today, and now im looking at my right hand and its covered in these tiny grey slivers. They dont really sting, they are just making my hand go numb. I am just curious what kind of plant did this.

Probably Devil's Club-- not toxic-- 1st Nations used it in various mixtures for purging the system & purgatives(Ex-Lax)

Stinging nettle is usually not visable after coming in contact because it is more clear and very thin. Probaby devils club
