Lower Fraser tides
« on: August 23, 2009, 07:35:25 AM »

If its high tide @ 7:00 am at Pt. Atkinson vancouver what time is high tide at the Mission Bridge? I heard it was 3 hrs later but want to see what anyone else thinks. I had a little trouble at the Fort Langley (Bedford) boat launch because of a miss calculation of low tide time.

4 hours to Fort Langley so probably closer to 5 hours for the Mission Bridge.

Pt Atkinson to new west is a little less than 1 hour. I find fort langely around Derby reach is around 30-45 min behind New West making it around 2 hours behind Pt Atkinson. So I imagine around the 3-4 mark at Mission.

You are a couple of hours out. Maybe you aren't converting PST to PDT...?

Oni Kage has it. 4 hours to the mouth of the Vedder. I divide the river's length into rough quarters, assign an hour per, and work from there.
