FOUND: Rod & Reel on the Squamish
« on: August 23, 2009, 04:42:22 PM »

Are you missing a rod & reel that you either left or dropped somewhere in the Squamish system? Well, I found it on the Squamish downstream from the Cheakamus confluence yesterday. Send me the brand/model/specs of your rig and we'll arrange a pick-up for you.

Hey nvloc,

Last winter I stumbled crossing the cheakamus just above the confluence. I lost my grip and dropped my dragonfly fly rod in the drink. I was fishing a floating line on a kamloops reel. The fly rod itself was a four or a five weight, can't remember which. This was many months back so I would be very surprised if this was my rod you found.

I would have pm'ed but the board said I couldn't.

Sorry Ryan, you description doesn't match this rig. Best of luck in finding yours though.
