Caught 2 in 45 min Friday with fresh pink roe, I tie it up in game cheesecloth sold in any hunting section (Canadian Tire).
The junk fish were hamming it, i though a few times they where stuck on the hook.

I just used it as is, some was fresh and another on was caught on thawed roe, I did nothing to the roe, I don't even use any sent.
the roe out performed fresh bloody gills, while the gill did have a one good hit.

Only fish for like sturgeon for  45min because there were to many pink jumping around and we thought cast for pinks was a better idea.

I'd keep it in the fridge only if your going to use it within 3 days of putting it in. Otherwise freeze it and just let it unthaw naturally before you head out. I caught some females last weekend froze it as soon as it got home and used it on Wednesday night. We were out for not even 2 hours landed 8 all 4-7feet long.
