Thaila can be GREAT, but it can also be a very tough lake to fish.

Concentrate on the drop off close to the cabin (There is only one cabin on the lake) There are some real nice drop offs on the lake and I have had great luck in the spring with Chironomids, but at this time of the year I have done really well on Black/Red Micro Leeches hung under an indicator .

Dragons work well there as well, try to make sure you match the color of the dragon nymphs, at Thalia they are usually in a Dark Green/Brown molted color.

Have fun.

A good investment is one of the outdoor map books you can by at most tackle shops and else where.

I have followed the rail tracks, beautiful route, but if you don't know the way it is easy to get lost.

We were on that road last weekend.  Drive into Brookmere until you see the green (or blue) garbage bin on your left.  Cross the tracks and take that road until you get to the end.  Take a right at the stop sign and keep going down Otter Valley Rd. until you see a small side road on your left called Youngsberg - this road takes you to Rickey and Clifford Lakes which are right next to Thalia.

It's an easy drive with a few smaller potholes, my driveway is worse.  We made it in a Corolla and saw only one vehicle on the monday.  Let me know by PM if you see any deer. ;)
