I got a pink, foul hooked 3, I think. I was there from just before sunrise till about 8 30 or so. just over an hr and half, 2 hrs may be.
I was knee deep in the water, and literally saw lots of fish swim by my feet. For a second, I considered casting straight down..
I was casting into 2 feet of water in front of school of chrome pinks (errr well thousands of schools).
I must have landed 20 in one hour and lost around 10 more and then foul hooked maybe 3 (really big gross humpies).
All on silver hammered colorados (found a new wake of making those that I might post later), and almost all the fish landed were bullets.
My advice (although from only one day back since moving to island).. size 2 silver colorado, find school moving up, cast above them and hammer time.
Make sure your float is right up to your weights with only a 12 inch or so leader, and no need to stand in the water.
Watched fish all day moving up less than 5 feet from edge, and believe me they are not all pinks (watch for black tails)
