If it's the Lower SS Coast you're visiting then Chapman Creek is it.

I fished Chapman Creek for the first and only time several years while my wife and I were staying at a B&B in Sechelt. The river is small; if memory serves, similar in size to Kanaka. Adjust your gear accordingly. The water is tannin coloured too.  I caught a large buck coho in a small pocket in a side channel. I had my jig tucked up less than a foot below my float and hooked him just a rod's length away. I didn't cast as much as I dropped my rig into the water and let it drift down. I swear the water was barely deep enough to cover his back.
