Chilliwack River, October 31st 2009
« on: November 01, 2009, 07:57:02 AM »

Yesterday I fished above one of the clay banks in upper Chilliwack  and witnessed Chunks of side of a mountain the size of railroad cars dropping in to the river with a huge splashes. It surely looked like one of the reason for the river to get so muddy below. We fished above it with not bad success.

There are a few slides, but the ones affecting most lower river are between Alison Pool and Slesie Park (or above Tamahi if you don't know the latter). So fishing above Alison will give you better visibility.
