Fishing In Osoyoos And Around?

My parents are forcing me to go with them to osoyoos for christmas break, and i am wondering if there is anywhere good to wish around osoyoos, any rivers or anything??
Anywhere within about a 30-60 minute drive

You could try ice fishing for perch if you can find a lake with thick enough ice... and perch.

in ossoyoos there is still a good chance of catching some smallmouth there in the winter depends on where you are staying there is the bridge right in town fish in the current and you ahve a good chance fish with grubs and you can also fish at haiyned point provincal park there is a huge drop off there and it hold smallmouth in the winter also

There are some good creeks just across the border that are fun. Oroville, I believe is the name of the nearest town. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the creeks, it's been a while and they were strange names to my recollection.

Ice fished for brook/rainbow/perch/bass in yellow lake which is in oliver~30 minutes out of osoyoos.  white fish at white bridge and red bridge in keremeos~30mins out.  Some people ice fish vaseux but i wouldnt as there is a current thru that lake making it dangerous
