bass fishing in the okanagan

heading up to oliver at the end of february,anyone know if its a good time to start  bass fishing ?any good spots to try and what type of baits or lures are good to use at this time of year. thanx for your time

-- minus 2 today but people have been fishing.
--Skaha and Osoyoos open.
--ice coming off of vaseau
--can ice fish if you're desperate to get a bass.
--generally slow presentation .. tube or worm would try slow first but if no action try a top water.. sometimes they just go for it even in cold weather.
--might want to try fly fishing shallow areas as well,  leach, wooley buggers etc.
--shallow bays are warming up guys have been fishing last couple of weeks but most are just talking about it.

--be prepared as large rainbows are near the surface and feeding you might get a surprise on your bass outfit.
