Not unless you have a snowmobile.
Still lots of snow going to Jones.
Give it at least three more weeks.

strange weather. was up there 2 weeks ago and no snow anywhere. i guess with the weather this week things have changed. i doubt 3 weeks. give it a couple days of warm weather and we're good to go.

Road was totally accessible last weekend, but recent snow may have changed things. ??? One gate was locked but there were a few hardy campers braving the cold at the end near the dam. Strange thing  :o was the lake was down 20-30 feet from where I fished it last year. The place looked like a lunar landscape and very muddy. Never the most attractive lake it is really not very pretty right now. We were driving over places I'd fished the year before. I do not know how much it fills up every spring, but a whole lot of water would have to go in there to pick the level up.

For the latest snow to disappear, yeah, i guess a few days of warm weather and it will be clear again.

My three week estimate was regarding hitting it right for some really good fishing. First weekend in May is great at Jones lake.
