Much better today. :) If only the weather would improve too. ::) Even with rain pouring down hard, fishing was pretty good today. It took awhile in the morning to find them, maybe they were just not really into feeding when it was cooler. This afternoon the fishing picked up. I saw this one smashed something on the surface and it only took a cast to trick it for another rise. This was the biggest fish of the trip.

This evening I fished in front of the resort until 10pm after spotting a bunch of fish feeding on the surface. It was a combination of smallies and cutties. I basically anchored at one spot for one hour, used a clear intermediate sink and had a fish on almost every cast.

The fly I've been using for them is a beadheaded wooly bugger. It's one of the few things I can tie and I call it "Made in Taiwan", because the hackle comes undone after a few fish/casts. ;D
